The Boys & Girls Club of Scott County is pleased to announce that it will host Southern football legends Vince and Barbara Dooley at the club on Monday, Nov. 28, for an evening of entertainment and fun.
Barbara Dooley is a motivational speaker who captivates audiences wherever she goes. Her husband, Vince, is the legendary University of Georgia football coach and athletics director. The Dooleys' son, Derek, is currently head football coach at the University of Tennessee.
This is a rare opportunity to see the Dooleys together as they help raise funds to benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Scott County. Their stories are moving, inspirational and often comical.
Refreshments will begin at the club at 6:30 p.m. on the evening of the 28th. The program will begin at 7 p.m.
Anyone who purchased a ticket to the Boys & Girls Club's Hall of Fame banquet earlier this fall should contact the Club and ask for their free pass to this event.
Tickets are on sale at the Boys & Girls Club or from board members. Tickets will also be on sale at the door, with open seating.
Ticket prices are $5 for students, $25 for individuals and $50 for family tickets.
For tickets or information, contact the Boys & Girls Club at 423-286-9500, Board President Elizabeth Burress at 423-319-9309, or Secretary Terrie Cross at 423-215-4645.
