Wills & Bequests

Provide a future gift to Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cumberland Plateau by including a provision in your will or other estate plans. If you have already left Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cumberland Plateau in your will, or if you plan to do so, please let us know so we can show our appreciation and better plan for the future.

Gift of Real Estate

Make an extraordinary gift, many donors, particularly senior citizens, are motivated by the tax benefits combined with the simplicity of making a gift of property, as opposed to the burden of managing or selling your property. Gifting real estate also removes a large asset from your taxable estate!

Retirement Plans

Most people do not use all of their retirement assets during their lifetime, and those unused assets can be used to make a gift to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cumberland Plateau. With a Beneficiary Designation, a retirement plan can be a tax-efficient and simply way to include the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cumberland Plateau in your estate plans. If you are over 70 ½ you can choose to make a Charitable IRA Rollover gift from your traditional IRA account directly to our Club, and it will not be counted to you as income!

Life Insurance

If you have a life insurance policy that you no longer need because of a change in your life circumstances, you can simply make the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cumberland Plateau the beneficiary of your policy with a beneficiary designation selection. Another option is to gift your paid-up policy to our Club by making us the owner and beneficiary of your policy. Life insurance policies can even be gifted on a policy on which you are still paying premiums.

Mutual Funds

If you have a mutual fund and are looking to donate the proceeds to the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Cumberland Plateau, you may qualify to receive a charitable deduction. Mutual Funds can be gifted from a taxable brokerage account or even a retirement account (under certain circumstances). Please consult with a professional advisor to confirm.
